E-mail me at KR_e_stuff@MSN.com, PM me at DragoonWraith on the KoL message boards, or meet me on AIM as DragoonRaith with questions/comments/complaints/etc. <><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><> <><><><><><><><> History Version 1.0 The first one, and I don't intend to make another… <><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><> <><><><><><><><> The Emblems OK, for those who don't know, emblems are awards/penalties for various acts done throughout the game. The Relix's Emblem and the Ripple's Emblem are awarded to Males and Females for gaining "mastery" in all of their respective classes. Males can earn the Relix's Emblem for having been at some point in his life each of the following: Soldier, Archer, Ninja, Knight, Wizard, Cleric, Swordmaster, Dragoon, Beast Tamer, Warlock, Priest, Ghost, Angel Knight, and Lich. Females can earn the Ripple's Emblem for having been at some point in her life each of the following: Soldier, Archer, Ninja, Knight, Wizard, Cleric, Valkyrie, Siren, Dragon Tamer, Witch, Priest, Ghost, Angel Knight, and Lich. In either case, these emblems imbue your character with confidence, keeping him/her at +2 on his/her Mentality Gauge, which directly effects luck. +2 on the gauge allows you to have greatly increased accuracy, attack damage, blocking, dodging, defense, and various other "variable" stats. So, these are quite possibly the most universally useful emblem in the game. (It should be noted that Dragons can also earn the Grozz Nuy's Emblem which has the same effect, by being all four Elemental Dragons [use Mirror of the Gods], all three Alignment Dragons [use Urn of Chaos and/or Tome of Discipline], and Dragon Zombie [use Necromancy].) So, you have to be 14 classes in all, and a few of them can be difficult to achieve. This guide should help you obtain these emblems in the shortest time possible while using as few items as possible. Ideally, these emblems should be gotten late in the game to achieve the quickest time and use the fewest items, but then you also don't get to the use them for the large portion of the game until then. Still, you have to wait until after Ostorea to have any chance at all of getting all of them. Until then, you will be unable to get the Lich and Ghost classes. <><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><> <><><><><><><><> Items Required (For Both Males and Females) 1 (trust me) Urn of Chaos OR Tome of Discipline 1 (2 if you don't want to stay a Lich or Angel Knight) Reincarnation(s) 1 Altar of Resurrection (if you have the spell Resurrection, you don't need this) Necromancy (spell) <><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><> <><><><><><><><> Useful Items 2 High Level Snapdragon Swords (this greatly speeds up the process of achieving the requirements for low-level characters to get Advanced Classes) Resurrection (spell) (if you have this, you don't need the Altar of Resurrection) Mass Cups of Life (Snapdragons don't affect HP) Mass Sorcerer's Cups (Snapdragons don't affect MP) Mass Stone of Swiftness (Snapdragons only give 1/5 of the Agility of the original character, so you could end up short) 10-20 Sword Emblems (in case your Snapdragons aren't quite good enough) 10-20 Crowns of Intellect (in case your Snapdragons aren't quite good enough) NOTE: using two 30-ish Snapdragons, I managed to get a Level 1 Valkyrie, without any stat increasing items, but Wizards/Clerics/Priests/Sirens/Liches require a lot of MP, Dragoons require a lot of HP, and I often come up short with Agility for classes such as Swordmasters and even Dragoons <><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><> <><><><><><><><> Getting Them Quickly and Efficiently Relix's Emblem This is the Male Mastery Emblem. First, recruit a Soldier. Any name, any element, and any level. Of course, a higher level would be quicker, but Soldiers also have a very bad stat growth, so you'd probably rather get a low level. Besides, you can train to get some of the extra stats. The only thing required for this is that the character be either Lawful or Chaotic. In this guide I will assume that the person will be Lawful, because it's easier to write. Simply reverse the directions if u have a Chaotic character. Now, if you have any snapdragons, equip your best two on the character so as to get greatly increased stats, which will really quicken the process, since item-increased stats count for class changes. Check which classes you can get now (probably Archer and Ninja are the only ones if you're a really low level, or you might also get Cleric and Wizard). OK, go into training and get the Knight's Certificate (be counterattacked 15 times), Healing Spirit (use Healing spells [Heal, Heal Plus, a few special skills…] to heal an ally 20 times [items don't count]), and Book of Initiation (dodge/block three attacks in a row [this may be a little difficult at extremely low levels, but any character at least 5 levels lower than your character attacking him head on will often miss]). Check how many of these classes you can get with the required emblems: Knight, Swordmaster, and Priest (if you started with a Chaotic character, you will not be able to get the Knight or Priest classes). If there are any you can NOT get, train until you can. Next, go into training, kill your character, and use Resurrection to earn yourself the Archangel's Feather emblem. Train until you meet the requirements for the Angel Knight (HP 215, MP 66, STR 89, INT 81, AGI 88, L, and the Archangel's Feather Emblem) Now go into an Encounter. First, you need to kill five dragons for the Dragon's Scale emblem, and kill four people with physical attacks and four people with magical attacks for The Pen and the Sword emblem (this will undoubtedly take more than one Encounter, unless you find an Encounter with 8 people, 5 of whom are dragons, and have your character kill all of them) !If you started with a Chaotic Soldier, skip down to the asterisk (*)! Then either send your character out ahead to let him get killed, or attack him yourself. Regardless, suspend the game right before he dies. When he dies, he might Transmigrate into an Angel Knight. If he does not, reload the game and try again. Once he has successfully achieved Angel Knight, finish the Encounter. Now go into training. Use an Urn of Chaos on the Angel Knight to make him Bane, and kill him. Then use Necromancy on him (Liches, Saia, Elrik, and Euphaire are the only ones capable of casting this spell) to make him a Ghost. Have him use Reincarnation on himself to turn him back into a Chaotic Soldier. *OK, now you have a Chaotic Soldier (who, if you started with a Lawful Soldier, should have been all the Lawful classes.) Your character should now be able to get the Dragoon and Warlock classes. All that's left should be the Lich! So, equip the Ring of the Dead, go into an Encounter, have him die (like with the Angel Knight, save and reload if you are unsuccessful) eventually you will become a Lich, and YOU WILL EARN RELIX'S EMBLEM, unless you started with a Chaotic character, in which case you should use a Tome of Discipline on him, Necromance him, Reincarnate him, and get the Lawful classes, followed by the Angel Knight. Now you have either an Angel Knight or a Lich with the Relix's Emblem. If you want, Reincarnate him and make him whatever class you want. <><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><> <><><><><><><><> Ripple's Emblem This is the Female Mastery Emblem. Check how many of these classes you can get with the required emblems: Knight, Valkyrie, and Priest (if you started with a Chaotic character, you will not be able to get any of the classes).
